For Wind-Heat Cough
Wind-Heat Cough Tea
This tea helps to dispel excess heat and soothes the throat.
Ingredients
Mulberry Leaf (桑叶,
Sang Ye
), 10g
Chrysanthemum (菊花,
Ju Hua
), 10g
Burdock Seed (牛蒡子,
Niu Bang Zi
), 3-5g
Peppermint (薄荷,
Bo He
), 3g – add in last
Instructions
Add all ingredients (except peppermint) to a pot and bring to a boil.
Once boiling, reduce the heat, add the peppermint in and let it simmer for about 10 minutes.
Pour tea through a strainer and drink it while it’s warm.
